Terms and Conditions

These terms and conditions apply to JC Trust and all of its trading entities.

These terms and conditions apply to all bookings for the provision of accommodation made with JC Trust, either directly or via a third party. By making a booking for accommodation, guests warrant that they have read these terms and conditions and agree to be bound by them, subject to such changes as are notified to them. If the booking for accommodation is made through a third party, the terms and conditions of that third party also apply.

  • All accommodation is provided subject to availability.

  • Rates quoted are per property per night.

  • If your party consists of a greater number than has been allowed for in the booking (including infants), then we reserve the right to charge for the additional guests or cancel the booking, with any refund being at JC Trust discretion.

  • Check-in time is from 2pm and before 6pm, and check-out time is normally before 10am on the day of departure.

Do’s and Don’ts

Here are a few do's and don'ts that apply during your stay at JC Trust sites:

  • We reserve the right to refuse entry to any guests, and/or their visitors who do not respect or abide by our terms and conditions a copy of which is available on our website www.tasshacks.com.au

  • The operation of drones is only permitted at JC Trust sites with prior written approval from management.

  • If any items are lost, damaged or broken during your visit, please advise us so that we can arrange a repair or replacement.

  • We reserve the right to charge visitors for any damage that occurs that we consider to be over and above normal wear and tear.

  • Guests are responsible for their own washing and drying of dishes at the end of their stay. We reserve the right to charge for additional time that this takes our housekeepers to complete, with a minimum fee of $25 being applied.

  • When leaving the accommodation, please turn off all heaters and lights.

  • Lost keys will incur a charge for the cost of changing the locks & issuing new keys.

 

Code of Conduct

JC Trust has a Code of Conduct that guests must adhere to at all times. The following behaviour is deemed unacceptable and is in breach of the Company’s Code of Conduct

  • Loud and abusive language, including verbal or physical behaviour towards staff, guests, animals or any other person

  • Intoxication and unsavoury behaviour

  • Unnecessary or inappropriate interaction with wildlife

  • Wilful damage or destruction of any property irrespective of the owner of said property

  • Any behaviour that poses a threat, either implied or real to others

  • Excessive noise

  • Smoking in rooms or any other building on the properties

  • Overcrowding of accommodation. The total number of guests cannot exceed the number of guests registered for the stay

  • Assault of any kind

  • Possession or consumption of any illegal material including but not limited to drugs, pornography and firearms.

  • Ignoring directions or instructions from management

 

Eviction or Cancellation Policy

In the unfortunate event that a guest is in breach of our Code of Conduct the JC Trust reserves the right to cancel a booking at any time and request the guest and their partners, friends and/or family leave the premises immediately.

In the event of an escalated dispute the JC Trust reserves the right to take whatever action is necessary to evict the guest and their partners, friends and/or family, which includes but may not be limited to seeking police intervention.

In the event of such action a guest may receive a banning notice issued by JC Trust and encompassing all its associated entities and properties.

It is entirely at the discretion of JC Trust as to whether an evicted guest or a guest who has had their reservation cancelled due to a breach of the organisations Code of Conduct is eligible to receive a pro-rata or partial refund.

 

Payment Policy

We accept the following credit cards: Visa, Mastercard, Debit Card and American Express

By providing credit card details, guests warrant they have the authority to use the credit card and they authorise JC Trust to charge the cost of their booking(s) to that credit card.

We reserve the right to charge the card that you provide at the time of booking, anytime within 7 days of your booking arrival date as per our cancellation policy.

Cancellation Policy

​

Standard Cancellation

  • 7 days or more prior to arrival: Fully refundable

  • 6 days – 2 days prior to arrival: agreed rate for one night per room cancelled.

  • This means that if you cancel less than 6 days of when you are to stay, a fee of one night will be charged to your credit card (per room booked).

  • 24 hours prior to arrival: full stay non-refundable

  • Cancellations of bookings made within 24 hours of arrival: non-refundable.

  • No refund will be given for any unused services or non-arrival.

 

Peak Season Cancellation: December – February *excluding bookings between 20 December – 10 January

  • 30 days or more prior to arrival: Fully refundable

  • 29 days – 14 days prior to arrival: agreed rate for one night per room cancelled.

  • This means that if you cancel less than 14 days of when you are to stay, a fee of one night will be charged to your credit card (per room booked).

  • 14 days or less prior to arrival: non-refundable

 

Christmas & New Years Eve Cancellation - 20 December – 10 January

  • Bookings between 20 December – 10 January: non-refundable
